UMEK collabs with Cosmic Boys and Teenage Mutants for 1605

It’s always exciting when artists who are at the top of their game collaborate, and the new release on UMEK’s 1605 is no exception.

Label boss UMEK has joined forces with Cosmic Boys and Teenage Mutants for a two track EP that features a separate collaboration with each of the aforementioned artists.

Cosmic Boys and UMEK open the EP with Evolution which blends the stripped back style of Cosmic Boys with UMEK’s thick and heavy percussion. Prior to this release Cosmic Boys had released on the likes of Popof’s FORM and their own label, Legend. This new track with UMEK has a hypnotic style that blends atmospheric vocals with a twisted euphoria provided by the synth work.

Teenage Mutants have released on 1605 before, and have also featured imprints like on Terminal M, Tronic and Senso Sounds. Feels Like A Tunnel is the first time UMEK and Teenage Mutants have officially collaborated on music and the output is a dark and intense cut with aggressive energy that is perfect for club dancefloors.

UMEK has consistently charted with releases on 1605 since its relaunch in 2019, and his releases on other labels such as Intec, Filth On Acid and Suara have also been equally popular.

UMEK & Cosmic Boys & Teenage Mutants – Evolution / Feels Like a Tunnel is out now on 1605.
