Canadian producer River Tiber has collaborated with rap king Pusha T to produce a slow groove track titled Illusions. The track also features contributions from Kaytranada and The Weeknd collaborator Doc McKinney.
The track premiered today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. The New Zealand born DJ was visibly impressed by the sounds coming out of Toronto right now as he stated “I don’t even know what’s going on in Toronto right now, but I know that the music sounds like the city looks.”
Tiber joined Lowe after the track had been played and spoke of how happy he was to be part of such a creative and talented team. “It’s a great team. I think Toronto has always been incredible; it’s a really multicultural city. It’s taken certain artists, obviously like Drake and The Weeknd, to shine the spotlight on the city, but we’ve always had an amazing scene here.”
