Russian born, Hamburg based DJ, producer and vocalist Xenia Beliayeva returns with her second full length studio album, this time titled Riss (German for ‘crack’ or ‘fracture’).
This time around the 12-track album will come via Dutchman Paul Hazendonk’s Manual Music, a label that has previously seen appearances from top shelf artists such as Max Cooper, Umek and Eelke Kleijn.
We run a premiere for album inclusion Razor, a blissful flurry of smooth synth chords, straight forward drum sounds and a beautiful top line. The production style reminds us of recent music from the likes of George Fitzgerald and Kiasmos.
Xenia Beliayeva’s Riss LP is available March 15 on Manual Music.
