The aura of Reset Safari’s work is inspired by the consumption of pirate radio and rave tapes at a young age. The artist would skip lunch at school so he could afford vinyl, illustrating an unbreakable dedication and passion for music. Support was seen from Radio 1 for a single released on Throne Room Records, and now Safari returns to the contemporary label for the third time in the form of an EP release.
The Voicebox EP features two original tracks and one alternate dub version. Not a frill to be found, these have been crafted for sweat. The ‘Voicebox’ alternate dub is damp and dark. Visions of an industrial maze appear. The track is relentless, allowing only seconds to catch a breath before you are forced to flee.
Voicebox EP is out via Throne Room Records on December 12th.
