Marseille producer Matt Sassari has seen his reputation swoop to the front of the French electronic scene. It was Stefano Noferini and his Deepperfect label that nurtured and aided the producer’s evolution of sonic artistry, seeing potential in the developing artist and helping him on his way to realise it. With numerous releases under his belt on the likes of Tronic and Kraftek, and a co-founded label in the form of Panterre Musique, Sassari continues to surprise and delight with his vision and production.
Sassari’s latest work, Prison Song, is set to be released on Glasgow Underground and features two original tracks from the Frenchman.
The title track maintains a hard, techy groove. A vision of blues electronically transformed. An array of abstract sound can be heard amongst a background of curiosity and intrigue.
Prison Song drops on Glasgow Underground on February 3rd.
