A run of releases on labels like Simma Black, MadTech, Gruuv and Crosstown Rebels have put Made By Pete in strong contention as a potential front runner for British house music.
The London-based DJ and producer will make his debut with Yoshitoshi Recordings this week, an imprint that holds fort in Washington, DC and boasts previous outings from some top names, including Sharam, Audiojack, Frankyeffe, Red Axes, OC & Verde, Egbert and Eli & Fur.
The release connects his Aikido and The Greencoat Row original tracks with a great remix from Enamour, our pick from the three is no doubt the latter mentioned original, which we also have an exclusive premiere for.
Tribal in nature, with a warm core, The Greencoat Row takes you down a psychedelic rabbit hole fueled by rhythmic percussion and hair-raising vocal samples. A perfect soundtrack for an open-air dancefloor after dark.
Made By Pete’s Aikido EP will drop May 31st on Yoshitoshi Recordings.
