The productions of Brooklyn-based talent Ant LaRock have made their way onto labels like Rejected, Simma Black, Exploited Ghetto and Brook Gee Records in the past, racking up a few hundred thousand plays in the process.
His next outing will find him make a return to Junior Sanchez’ Brobot Records, where he last released almost one year to the day back in September 2019.
This time around, LaRock brings his 9-track BK album to the label, with track titles paying tribute to various neighbourhoods throughout Brooklyn. Crown Heights, Bed Stuy, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Bushwick, Green Point and Brownsville all get a mention.
Hosting an exclusive full length premiere for Bushwick, we’re treated to a rustic acid thumper that supplies a steady stream of relaxed vocal hooks, sultry drum grooves and richly produced filtered basslines, it’s a dynamic club track that should easily feel at home in most playlists.
Ant LaRock’s BK album drops September 25th on Brobot Records.
