Berlin based record label Heinz Music have been building an incredible catalogue of music over the past few years, and one which now boasts the sounds of producers such as Mike Book, Township Rebellion, Andreas Henneberg, Luigi Rocca and Paul Ursin among others.
The next release on the Heinz label will come via the return of another German, and someone who is no stranger to being part of an already impressive roster. We’re talking about Alexander Aurel, who follows tracks on Mobilee, Lapsus Music and 8Bit with a trio of house gems.
His Tomahawk EP brings together original titles Tomahawk, Sorry It’s Over and Save Your Soul. We run a premiere for the title track, Tomahawk. The deep melodic style brings tightly mixed drums, softened pluck style melodies and quivering synth harmonies, all swirling together in the bowl of organic rhythms.
Alexander Aurel’s Tomahawk EP is out now on Heinz Music.
