Albird and Kaiser Souzai’s Ballroom Records imprint has brought us sounds from production talents like DJ Lion, Gunnar Stiller, Nakadia and Teenage Mutants, and this month finds the third appearance on the label for emerging Argentinian Tomas Otero.
Following an original EP and an inclusion on the Ballroom ADE 2019 VA sampler, Otero now completes the treble with a brand new remix for Albird’s Kestrel. The EP itself combines two originals from the Berlin-based Albird with remix work from Otero and Goncalo.
Premiering Tomas’ edit, we’re treated to a solid foundation of techno-focused rolling thunder, built from the ground up with a strong low end, stiff jabbing kick drums and refreshing bursts of energetic melodies.
Albird’s Kestrel EP will drop November 11th on Ballroom Records.
