Point Blank instructor Chris Carter demonstrates the full potential of the versatile synth
Massive may have earned its stripes as a dubstep powerhouse, capable of complex modulations and integrate waveforms, but it’s a vastly versatile synth and this video, recorded live as part of Point Blank’s Friday Forum series, will demonstrate why. In it, Point Blank Sound Design instructor Chris Carter takes a look at building drum sounds in Massive, from beefing up your existing samples to creating full-on analogue madness. He then loads the samples into NI’s drum plugin Battery for more tricks and treatment. Like what you see?
