New York three piece TKDJS bring the goods once again with their dark twist on future house, this time taking the knife to AYER’s In My Headphones. It’s a heavy hitter all the way from across the pond.
AYER’s In My Headphones EP which just saw him put six tracks out on Hello Music was received with positive flair, and there’s no arguing it’s deserving. TKDJS really take things to the next level though, pushing the original into a new corner of the musical spectrum.
Playing off the original top line with seemingly flawless effort, TKDJS drop in a metallic future bass line that rocks the mix into a new dimension. It’s relevant with the commercial trends of now, but in a tasteful way.
TKDJS who also just put up bootleg mixes of Basement Jaxx and Blonde are turning heads the world over and it won’t be long before they’re reaping the benefits.
