Dirt Crew Recordings have spent the past 10+ years building one of Europe’s go to hubs of timeless house, funk and disco. Releasing top names such as Mano Le Tough and Detroit Swindle, right down to the newcomers like Schmutz or Fion.
It’s a strong statement to say that every record a label releases is great, as you of course cannot please everyone, but we’re stuck between thoughts when trying to recall a track from Dirt Crew that we haven’t liked.
To launch a new series at Soundspace titled 10 of the Best, we thought it fitting to put our headlights on a label who has also kept a family vibe amongst it’s ranks, and one who’s been more than pleasant behind the scenes!

Harry Wolfman & Loz Goddard – Problem Child
Release date: 25-01-16
Kicking off our Dirt Crew top 10 is British pals Harry Wolfman and Loz Goddard, having first popped up on our radar with their 2015 release of Square Lanes, the EP see’s two of it’s tracks on the list.
Problem Child is an eccentric offering of bright house stabs, warping chords and snappy percussion, it’s a funk heads dream production.
