Claude VonStroke announces new 'Freaks & Beaks' album

American DJ and beat maker Claude VonStroke has become a veteran of electronic music over the past decade and a half, throwing parties, organising festivals, and running one of America’s top house labels.

Over the years, his Dirtybird imprint has released club focused house stompers from the likes of Cats ’n Dogs, Eats Everything, Justin Martin, Worthy, Will Clarke, Christian Martin, Justin Jay and Sacha Robotti.

2020 will see the label celebrate its 15th birthday, and VonStroke has decided to mark the occasion with the release of his fourth studio album, Freaks & Beaks.

Arriving February 21st, the new record will be available in several formats, including a triple vinyl package. A pre-release EP is out now and includes two tracks from the album, All My People In The House and Youngblood, which features Wyatt Marshall.

Speaking on the album, Claude said “Thank you for supporting me over the last 15 years. The very first Dirtybird record came out in January 2005 and I’m so excited to announce my 4th studio album Freaks & Beaks is coming FEB 21!! You guys are all amazing and hopefully you love this record. It’s a celebration, bitches!”

An album tour has also been scheduled, with six February dates already confirmed, and more to be announced. Shows include London’s fabric, Berlin’s Katerblau and Chicago’s Sound-Bar.

As if a tour and album are not enough to satisfy hungry fans, Claude has also released the first part of a new mini-doc series and announced a 300-page coffee table book which both focus on himself and the label. The book is available from February 21st on Dirtybird’s webstore for $99.
