Austrian white noise producer Christian Fennesz and American musician Jim O’Rourke have announced the release of It’s Hard For Me To Say Sorry, their upcoming collaborative project, which will be available from June 24th.
It’s the first time the two have joined forces in fourteen years; many will remember the Fenn O’Berg trio that the duo were a part of alongside the head of Editions Mego, Peter Rehberg.
Editions Mego have stated that “the signature of both O’Rourke and Fennesz cohabit this new release with O’Rourke’s gurgling harmonies swimming alongside the shimmering frequencies and strummed melodies produced by Fennesz.”
The pair flew out to Kobe, Japan to record the album during September of last year and is made up of two side long pieces that have been characterised as warm electronic adventures.
