The latest addition to the list of Irish imprints is Sligo’s Splendor & Squalour. Branded as a ‘vinyl only’ label, the first release comes as four tracks, courtesy of Irelands deep house poster boys, Brame & Hamo. Clockwerk, S.O.U.L and Full Custody make up the EP, with the inclusion of a massive remix from Session Victim on Clockwerk, all four tracks take things deep, very deep. Hints of deep house, funk, disco and deep tech are found throughout, with Full Custody taking our pick from the list, it’s heavy hittin’ drums and soulful vocal chops takes things up a notch.
