Blagov is a producer hailing from Shumen, Bulgaria. A hobby quickly turned into a passion and soon a residency was on the table at a local club. This led to his first release in 2010 and in 2011 Blagov enrolled in a course for young producers, which resulted in him becoming closely affiliated with many of Bulgaria’s biggest names.
Next up for the Bulgarian producer is the Everytime EP, coming out on New Violence Records. The project features two original tracks from Blagov himself and witnesses Pavel Petrov, Gruuve and up and coming Dutch talent Robin Fett on remixing duties.
Petrov and Gruuve’s take on Blagov’s ‘Everything’ is a groovy number. African drums can be heard from the off as each new sound is introduced in minimal fashion. Deep, dub like sound makes itself known after the first periodic pause, and this sets the tone for the rest of the track. Two more chances to pause show themselves as the groove replenishes its energy to go once more.
Everytime EP is out on New Violence Records from November 7th.
