As the dust finally settles on the tail head of a turbulent and thought provoking year we again look forward to the hopefulness and optimism of a new chapter.

The world of music is as healthy as ever. Throughout 2016 we were amazed and engrossed by the output of a great many labels. Dictating the sonic waves of the last twelve months, they incited euphoria and dance, uniting body and soul.

Next Phase Records

Infest run’s Dutch label Next Phase Records. It officially launched in 2012, illuminating the dense and infectious riddims that the Jungle possesses.

Inspiration is channelled from the sounds of Ninja Tune and Mo’Wax into the creation of broken beats that snap the binds of BPM restriction.

We fell in love with the New Moon EP, released in September of last year. It’s a four tracker consisting of music from Phuture T, Double O, Infest & Tim Reaper and Leonux. A fusion of drum and bass, jungle and breakbeat that makes for a dreamy trip. More to come this year.
