Since its conception in 1996 Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has been at the forefront of the creative industry, showcasing a vast array of the elements of the arts, be it music, film or craftsmanship. The concept brings festival vibes and conference education together under an umbrella of immersive sound and unique experience.

Over 2000 artists will play across 450 events to a crowd of over 365,000 visitors in over 115 venues. Amsterdam’s clubbing reputation is illustrated in truly inspiring fashion. Pop up events throughout the Dutch capital keep visitors on their toes, rewarding those keen enough to seek out secret raves, hidden performances, rooftop parties and pop up stores. ADE Playground becomes the temporary home for leading brands across the globe to showcase their latest technological concepts alongside workshops and masterclasses.

Dance related art exhibitions demonstrate the modern dance climate for those intrigued by musical movement. Rep carpet premieres and in depth documentaries awaken the film buff within whilst the ADE MusicTalks idea puts you in direct contact with your icons, triggering inspiration and passion.

With so much going on at this year’s ADE it can be difficult pinning down what events you really want to go to, so we at Soundspace thought we’d be sound and compile a list of music events that we’re pretty keen on ourselves.

Percolate x AVA Festival ADE Showcase @ Chicago Social Club

Percolate have been throwing parties since 2012 and now attract some of the biggest names within electronic music. AVA Festival is entering its third year and has generated worldwide interest thanks to ventures to Mumbai and headliners such as Rodhad, Mano Le Tough and Bicep, not to mention that a Belfast crowd is loud enough to attract the eyes of the world anyway. Now the two join forces at ADE.

AVA and Percolate favourite Gerd Janson headlines alongside Leon Vynehall as the pair are given free reign over proceedings. One of the greatest live performers around follows them in the form of the Australian Harvey Sutherland and the line up is finalised by a string of stellar support acts.

The event takes place at Chicago Social Club from 23:00-05:00 and tickets begin at 15 Euro plus a booking fee. You can pick em’ up from here.
