It’s time for release number four on Stefan Weise’s 3km Records label, coming later this month the player will feature two original productions from the boss himself, as well as an edit from Dutch artist Remy Unger.
Previously the imprint has seen music come via names like Sierra Sam and Overbay, and Weise’s return is a welcomed sight. It’s titled Fractal Soul, and alongside the title track is Tesseract Funk.
Tesseract Funk shows off an energetic house blend of jabbing kick transients, overflowing filter delays and long vocal reverbs that results in a nice middle ground between nostaglic harmonies and modern production quality.
Stefan Weise’s Fractal Soul EP is available from 6th November on 3km Records.
